Treforest Industrial Estate Survey

Sustrans are currently undertaking an interesting feasibility study about how people move around the estate.

In particular they are interested in hearing about the experience of people who access the estate via public transport or from those who cycle or walk in the area.

If you would like to express an opinion about specific areas where the estate could be improved, this is a great opportunity to share your views…

• [Regarding the footbridge pictured above]
“The bridge is extremely slippery when wet, very isolated and often dark as the lights are not always working. A better surface would help.”

• “The access path to Tref Station is quite isolated and not accessible for wheelchairs as is the access to the station. I have heard that a new station is to be built at the other end of the Estate. If this is the case make it well lit and fully accessible for disabled and other people.”

• “Difficult to cross the road.”

• “Not wheelchair accessible”
